Houses built on your own land, to your architect’s drawings or to ours, with the garden, the joinery and the furniture carried through by the same family. We take on a small number of houses each year.
Slower than most. On purpose.
Every stage is seen by the same eyes, and anything that does not look right is taken down and done again.
We walk the site with you before anything is drawn. Trees are surveyed and kept; the garden is designed with the house, not after it.
With your architect, or with our partners Green + Partners Architects of London and Yangon. We turn the vision into rooms, proportions and materials.
Structure, teak floors and ceilings, doors and windows, and all fitted joinery. U Kyaw Sein oversees the site in person.
Furniture and cabinetry from Teak by Kyaw Sein, interiors led by Eindri Kyaw Sein, so the house is finished as one work.
We stay with a house. Teak moves with the seasons, and we return to see to it.
